§ Ch. 01 — The Workflow

Three commands,
in the order that matters.

bobby's whole philosophy fits in a sentence: plan before you build, build before you ship, and keep a human in the loop at every stage. The commands enforce the order.

  1. § Step I

    Plan in prose.

    Start with a conversation, not a template. Describe what you want to build in plain language; bobby drafts a plan you can edit, challenge, and approve before anyone writes any code.

    Build against the plan.

    bobby implements the plan with tests first, commits incrementally, and tells you where it got confused. The human stays in the loop — as the reviewer, not the typist.

    Review before shipping.

    bobby opens a PR with a written summary of what changed and why, linked to the plan you approved. You review your own work. Then you ship.
